So, been to YoYo Games and got myself a game called "Pokemon Sunbright", and he claims that it ISN'T Pokémon Twilight, but the fact is that almost 90% of the graphics, sprites, names, etc are the same as Pokemon Twilight. I Know that PT isnt registered as GF's Copyright material, most probably, but the thing is that game still steals intelectual property. I think GF should warn the Developer of the game to change most things in his game. You can do a search on YoYo Games' Sandbox Page for "Pokemon" and you'll find Pokemon Sunbright there. Since it is a crappy game with a bunch of poorly drawn pokemon alongside PT's first version Sprites, I think it kinda makes PT look like a nooby game, when it clearly isnt. So, yeah... Its just that... :/

Something a bit more important than claiming it is his engine is the fact v4 was never released as a GMK, which means he decompiled it which is in fact illegal, so if you want to sue him I'd go with the decompiling part because besides the programming and sprites Pokemon is still copyrighted by Nintendo which may cause further problems, and decompiling is illegal, no matter what was decompiled.

Yeah, I went to check it out and it's definitely a clone. I ended up playing until the first Gym Leader, taking some snapshots along the way. I'll post them all here in a spoiler box:

It would appear this hoodlum couldn't even be bothered to think of a name that doesn't rhyme. Perhaps speaking sternly to him or her would fix the situation.

Decompiling is using an illegal program to turn games made with Game Maker into their editables, allowing people to look at the source code and all other things within, possibly changing some stuff and recompiling it afterwards.

Wrong. Decompiling is turning any executable file into source code, it's not something exclusive to Game Maker.
