| whenever I fight the first gym leader it crashes halfway trough

Didn't you read when you downloaded PT that it isn't compatible with Windows 8? Your computer has some performant characteristics, you should be able to run much more performant games. PT doesn't support that OS yet, but someday it will. However, I don't think that is on the top priorities list, so you will have to wait a couple of years probably. No one knows.
Also, keep in mind next time you post a topic, don't post it three times.

| It's never been tested on Windows 8 because I don't have it yet but it should work just as well as Windows 7. I'd be interested to know if anyone else with Windows 8 has encountered this issue.

| I had the same Problem but i know a solution.(I`m german and sometimes I use Google translator, so my eglish isn`t so good^^)
First you hace to right-klick the pokemon twilight.exe
Now choose properties .
Then you have to klick on compatibility .
Now do a check at compatibility mode and choose Windows 7.
Thats it!

| Well, I'm intending to buy a new laptop and read that Windows 7 games are usually compatible with Windows 8. If I'll buy a Windows 8 laptop, I'll let you know, Kabob. |
