| The Secret Area is in the game, but the actual area itself is closed off by a tree that requires Cut to pass through. The HM for Cut isn't in the game yet, so that means that the secret starter area can't be accessed until then. If you really want another starter, you could always trade your Pokemon to someone trustworthy over the server, and then erase your game and pick another one...
