| Chapter 1: Dead Memories
I was hiding under a table from those flesh eating monsters the general was on top of the table shooting them I didn't know exactly how I got here all I remember was clapping and I giant explosion and dead bodies, everywhere it was sickening all the death I heard a bang on top of the table.
"HEY GET OUT OF HERE!" I heard the general yell out over the snarling and growling of the sickly green zombies there was two others under the table we all got out and ran towards the door but when I got there I was the only one left I turned and saw the general still on the table shooting and two other piles of zombies I saw one with a dismembered hand in his mouth.
"GET OUT OF HERE KID!" the general yelled as he noticed I turned and shoved open the doors and heard a scream it vaguely resembled the generals yells at me.
As I got outside there was two more explosions and more screaming a bodies, weapons, ammunition and crates went every where and there were more zombies and then a girl landed across the road right behind some boxes and had a badge on that said “sheriff Bethany Howard” landed right in front of me I walked over to him and checked his pulse.
"Dead." I murmured her face vaguely familiar it almost pained me to see her this way, I grabbed her pistol and a long distance radio "shzzt" it made a sound and then a voice.
"Is anyone there hello." shzzt I pushed a button.
“I’m here.” I said barely audible
“What’s you name soldier.” I got and brought out the gun.
“I… I can’t remember.”
“Ok soldier you need to get out of there now” I saw a few zombies over the boxes
“No I want to help” I said back I heard a sigh
“Ok here's your mission, there’s a few cops and civilians got captured there on the outside of the base,” he said, “you’ll need to free them from the zombie horde,” he stopped again I heard some talking in the background “And your permitted to do so with whatever means necessary, so rough up those green guys a bunch for us.” I noticed something to the side
“Ok.” was all I said bending back down and grabbing a chainsaw It was out of gas I saw some gas not very far away but the zombies would see me I looked to the right and saw some ammo I grabbed it and loaded my pistol I ran for the gas and sure enough the two zombies saw me and ran for me I shot the both in the heads.
I grabbed the gas and filled up the chainsaw, then I noticed that only one zombie had an arm, I walked over to it and ripped the arm off in doing so attracted the attention of more zombies one got to close I grabbed the zombie arm that I ripped off and hit the zombie right across the head which made a sickening crack as the arm snapped in two and the head flew across the small town.
Another zombie scratched my arm I hit it with the chainsaw slicing it in two I walked over behind more crates I grabbed the flamethrower and more ammo this place must have been an army base with all these weapons.
On the other side there were two more zombies, I got out from behind the crates and started up the flame thrower there frail once human bodies ignited with flame quickly disintegrating to ash it smelled horrible I walked over to the and picked up a mini-gun.
“This is going to be useful.” I said to myself and I stared loading it I walked towards the street corner when four more zombies came out of nowhere, I shot them with them mini-gun and destroyed some of the crates and what was past them horrified me.
“Does this ever end?” I said I ran towards them, shooting threw the re-animated with every weapon I had, I picked up a shotgun and a rocket launcher on my way.
I was almost to the end of the street I heard some kids crying I guess they were somewhere around the next corner, I turned and ducked behind some boxes, there were too many zombies around the next corner and that’s when he saw it, it was a laser a BIG laser, I grabbed it and it was already full according to the gauge on it.
I jumped over the boxes shooting all the zombies in sight there blood and gore flew everywhere, I was already coated in the disgusting purple blood of the zombies it smelled horrible but I ignored it, there were things more important.
As I rounded the next corner I saw people stuck in a giant electric cage I ran for them shzzt.
“I’ve found the civilians.” shzzt.
“Good work soldier.” shzzt.
"There’s a problem there trapped behind an electric cage.” shzzt.
“Well there’s has been a report of a giant zombie in that area.” shzzt.
I glanced at the huge pile of boxes “I’m on it.” I say as I bring out the rocket launcher and the laser I shoot the pile of boxes with a rocket and when the smoke clears something giant silhouetted by the smoke roars in fury as the giant zombie steps out into the clear air.
“Who dares awaking me” it said in a big booming voice.
“Oh so this one is smart” I said.
“You, you dare wake the big z.” it snarled.
“Yes and not only that making you what you’re supposed to be.” I shot back, it stepped forward and laughed
“And what might that be puny human.” I got the laser ready.
“DEAD!” I said shooting it with a combination of the laser and the rocket launcher again as the smoke cleared I saw a tall figure but one side was severed beyond recognition, while the side I shot at it with the rockets was still damaged but not to that extent the giant fell something fell off I walked over by the dead green and purple zombie scum and grabbed it, it was the key I walked back to the corner and unlocked the electrical cage.
“Okay I got them out.” shzzt.
“Okay report back to base asap.” shzzt
“And where might that be” shzzt.
“Ha, ha” he said sarcastically “I’ll send a helicopter to your location”.
Chapter 2: past
After one long helicopter ride… “So I’m not in any of your records?” I asked “not at all” ted said “at all?” I asked, he turned back to his computer “nope no fingerprints or Dna we even looked up dental records and there was nothing” there was a short pause of awkwardness I turned away it was a small place not very far from the army base I helped clean out a zombie problem is what the case report said more like I did it while the a bunch of mostly untrained people got captured by there own fence as it turned out a rookie soldier locked himself and a few others behind a prototype electric gate but he lost the key that unlocked the thing and the big Z picked it up.
“Were currently doing a body count to see if anyone is missing” ted said trying to sound reassuring “but why am I not in your records?” I said He turned away from the large computer “well the base that was attack was the main hub for all data” ted said looking as if he didn’t know he was suppose to tell me this “and when it was destroyed we lost almost all of our files but we started a back up but we never finished it new recruits, new weapons and such” he turned back to his computer clicking and typing away.
“so what now?” I asked he turned and walked swiftly past me and opened the door “Right this way” I glared in confusion and the walked through the door.
“remind me again why I’m in a school” I asked though the radio “well” ted started “this town you’re in was attacked by the zombies shortly after the base was, zombies have to eat you know” at this moment I was in a kindergarten class room with blood stains every where.
“so I’m suppose to exterminate the zombies” I asked I pushed the image of a little child that was now a rotting zombie “and find our any survivors we need to know what these zombies are capable of” and then I heard him rummaging around “ah-ha ok now look in your backpack there should be a small device that has a map on it and it records how many zombies you’ve killed with each different type and has a detector look at it you’re the green dot and zombies are red and teammates are yellow and everyone else is blue”
“Oh there are different types now?”
“We haven’t counted them so far there are mostly small male ones”
“ok I’ll get right on that”
“do you want to know how the ZD works?”
“ZD?”
“Zombie dictionary/detector”
“Did you come up with that ted?” I walked over to the door looking at the map
“Maybe” He said in a defensive tone “anyways back in subject you use the left and right keys to browse threw it and the zombies all have a speed, strength, smartness and eating bar the maximum is 10 the lowest one“
“And is that all” I said
“yes you can break through the wall or the door that you wanted too now”
“Alright” I kicked the door open and caught the attention of the six zombies I went for my laser but couldn’t find it “WHAT THE…” I was interrupted by a pouncing zombie ‘the girls are faster’ I thought I grabbed my pistol and blew the zombies head off I heard more zombies coming I had to make quick work of these I grabbed the girls arm finally a practical use for long fingernails he tossed it and the long fingernails cut right through the other zombies head.
After the other three were dead I ran through the halls listening for anything besides the groaning and moaning of zombies but as I ran past the bathroom I heard “do you think he’s dead” I heard someone say “I don’t know I never paid attention in health” I heard a someone else say I walked over to the bathroom door “OH CRAP GET HIS GUN” the second voice said I heard clicking and snapping of a gun I walked through the door “ I wouldn’t shoot that if I were you “ I said pushing the door open “there where to teenagers there one girl one boy and a police officer was lying in the floor “ so what happened to him?” I looked at them they stared in shock like I was the last person on earth “well?” still no answer I checked his pulse… beating he was just unconscious.
“he should wake up soon” I looked up at them “am I going to have to drag it out of you what happened?” I stared and then the girl spoke “He… he was protecting us and he got hit in the head while getting all of us in here” she stuttered I looked back at him the name tag said “officer George Johnson” “all of us?” I asked was there more “there was seven of us” the girl answered “everyone else left except me, Jack and Taylor she’s passed out in the corner” looked up in the far corner and saw another girl “I’m Alice by the way.
“Where did they go?” I asked if there was anyone else I had to save them “they went to the auditorium” the boy started “the principal said go to there right after this guy got knocked out“.
“Ok I need a bucket” I said planning on waking these two up the old fashion way “we don’t have buckets” the girl answered “a fire hose?” I asked thinking I should keep it on low “there old it’s by the door” the girl answered obviously the boy wasn’t very talkative I punched the glass out and grabbed the hose.
“Stand back” turned the hose on barely and spayed the officer then moved to the girl “HEY WHY DID YOU DO THAT FOR!” the officer jerked up and the girl was wide eyed and afraid it looked like she was just waiting to get eaten “you were unconscious and we need to get out of here” I said dropping the hose “c’mon I don’t have all day” they jumped and the officer grabbed his gun from were the kids dropped it.
When we were out in the hall there was a few zombies and the remains of the ones I killed previously I grabbed my radio and pushed the button “hey ted where did all my weapons go?” I asked as the memory of my disappearing laser came back “some of those are top secret and needed to be worked on but they’re widely distributed illegally so it shouldn’t be hard to find them” he replied we turned to the auditorium doors and looked around “did you kids know anyone who sold weapons in this school?” I turned towards them.
“n..no” Taylor stuttered “c’mon you can trust me and ignore ole sour face over here he can’t arrest you I doubt this towns population could reach the limit to be incorporated anymore so he’s basically fired“ I said they looked as if they didn’t believe me “Todd Johnson” Alice said “he knew a guy who worked for the army so he got free prototype weapons” the police officer had that he was doing what now face on.
“where is his locker?” asked hoping the kid was stupid enough to leave military weapons at school “um down the hall by the principals office” the hall they she was pointing at was across the playground infested with zombies “okay lets get going” I said walking to the door I turned seeing why I was not being followed “are you coming?” I said as they stared at me in horror “are you crazy?” George said “depends on what definition you use and I’ve dealt with worse” they still looked horror struck “do you want to stay here?” they hesitated and slowly followed me followed me “okay” I said turning for a janitors closet and shot the knob off.
“to make you feel better” I grabbed a crowbar, broom and a bloody base ball bat obviously confiscated from a deranged student and tossed them to them “the zombies are weak and easy to take care of I walked over to the door and opened it just noticing how big the zombies are.
“okay there a little bigger” I muttered shooting a couple of them the kids were still behind me with several zombies coming around I shot a few of them and they were able to take care of the rest “see it wasn’t that hard” they looked at me still horror struck “I think he is crazy” I heard Taylor mutter to Jack “yes but he’s helping us” Alice interrupted we walked across the playground and went inside I saw the princapals office directly infront of us.
I looked at the kids.
“which locker” they all pointed to the third one on the right of the principals office I walked up to it and smashed it in and removed the door “what the” I said while a bunch of weapons fell out “this will do” I said I grabbed the laser “help yourselves” I said they hesitated and George was giving me the crazy look again they each grabbed one alright lets go I said walking down the hall “why can’t we go back through the playground” George said as I shot at two more zombie heads off.
“I like killing zombies” was all I said and he jus shut up.
This hall was filled with zombies it took all of us too finish them off and as we halfway to the auditorium doors I grabbed the rocket launcher and fired the doors blew open and we walked though what was there shocked us all.
The principal now a zombie was jumping ever where trying to catch a last few students I got my pistol and shot him in the soldier “HEY PEABRAINS” I yelled the eight kids that he was following looked at me relieved.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size” I said as I shot him again I couldn’t use the launcher or the laser that would kill the kids.
“Because the ones my own size doesn’t taste as good” he hissed walking for me a little closer and I could shoot him with the launcher.
“Then fight me and you can get back to what you were doing” I said loading the launcher he laughed and then jumped I shot him with the launcher.
He was flung be the explosion but not harmed “humph” I said shooting the laser when he jumped again but it didn’t even make a mark.
I noticed something in the back of the launcher I didn’t notice before I realized what it was and got the laser and shoved it in the back of the launcher then more laughing “like a simple human weapon can harm me” I aimed as he got ready to jump again “then try this one” I said shooting the laser rocket launcher.
At first it looked as if it did nothing but slowly he stumbled and fell before he exploded I grabbed my radio “this area is clear ted” I said “sending the chopper” he replied picking up his phone “send two we got eleven kids and a police officer”.
“Okay then” I heard him turn off his radio. And I walked outside checking over my shoulder to see if they were still following me and we waited for the helicopters.

| actually I was planning on making him a terrorist that joined the us army and secretly worked on a bomb that would brainwash everyone that would be in a 100 mile radius but it backfired and exploded and he got hit in the head with a piece of something and got amnesia. |

| you forgot that they were at an award ceremony I've got a better idea he was being awarded on his research on dead soldiers were he successfully created a miniature charge that cold zap a soldier/cop back to life he created a larger scale one that would revive any inhabitable human body but with one side effect the person knows nothing about his past life except the last few minutes before death but when he demonstrates his experiment explodes and turns half the base into zombies and since he was the one to activate it he was exposed to too much which erased his memory and completely stopped his aging process(SEQUELS) and accelerated his regeneration(you could even put it in the game) |
