| Okay dokey!
This is an RP (RolePlay) anyone can join so long as they read this post :P and submit a character. For now you can play only 2 (Max) characters but feel free to have ambient characters too.

The area this RP takes place in is Drakonia, a land on a planet far from Earth. It is the year 2354, the UNMD (United Nations Military Defense) have been attacked by the rebels and strange aliens, so far Earth has been spared and all is well for humans. One ship, the Solitude, escaped a recent battle with aliens and rebels. The ship is damaged to a point that it cannot return to earth. It heads for a nearby planet that seems to have many kinds of alloys that can be used to make repairs.
Meanwhile, on the said planet, war is afoot. Dragons, humans with pointed ears and hybrids of the two species battle against a dark force only known as the Shadow.
The humans are skilled swordsmen and are excellent archers. The dragons fight larger groups of foes with their fiery breath attacks and physical attacks. The hybrids, of which there is no exact description, are equally skilled in most things. They, however, are users of magic and battle with it when they can.
The UNMD ship enters orbit and is immediately attacked by strange energy bursts, the technicians are unable to identify what they consist of and the ship sustains too much damage to keep itself in the air. It crashes into a barren wasteland that has rivers of lava flowing from a nearby volcano.
Rumors spread around the marines that there were special guests aboard, though the exact details were uncertain, they were sure they had some extra cargo that was not normal.
Two scouting teams are sent out in light dropships, they soon fall under attack and perish under hordes of the Shadow's minions. The UNMD crew immediately retailiate with a fleet of heavy ships and the forces are eliminated. Another, much more heavily armed team, is sent out to find anyone that might be able to help them.
And so, enter Draknonia! Choose what you play as and have fun.
Rules:
-Simple, no excessive, unecessary swearing, no insulting of other characters/players.
-Don't play other players characters. You can't kill a player, let them decide if they die, also, don't play invincible >_> if you get shot with a rocket, your character is dead. Make up some excuse, A) bring them back or B) make a new character
-Have fun!

Name: Trevor Maxin
Age: 19
Species: Human
Description: Trever is a marine private aboard the Solitude, he has only just recently experienced his first real battle. Skilled with a snipers-rifle and hand grenades he also has a very strong sense of what's just and right.
Trever is lightly built, he has broad shoulders but generally doesn't meet the quota for 'buff' he has sandy brown hair and emerald green eyes. He is around 5 foot 8 inches.
Weapon(s): Snipers-rifle, SAW6 (Assault rifle), G3H handgun ('H' sufffix means Snipers edition)

| Trevor stepped out of the shade of the trees as he used an omni scope to observe the strange creatures ahead.
The team had survived three ambushes in just two hours and they didn't want to run into any more. The dropship would circle back at dusk and pick up the team up on a cliff that overlooked the valley.
He watched as a few of the strange creatures squabbled over a carcass of a human, the human was not from the Solitude which intrigued him and the other marines, there were humans on the planet and the humans might just be their ticket to leaving.
One creature drew out a glowing purple sword and beheaded another, before the head had hit the ground, three more were impaled and fell to the ground also.
The creatures displayed an amount of strength that surpassed that of even the heavy troopers the UNMD had reserved for tough missions on protected bases. They had snapped a mans arm as if it were a twig and they almost killed him with one of their strange swords too if it hadn't have been for a woman who fired a slug into the creatures head.
They didn't seem capable of communicating to humans, they hissed and growled at best, but they showed a level of intelligence that suggested they were an advanced species.
Earlier on they had spotted creatures in the sky that looked to be dragons. They had a massive wingspan, almost forty feet sometimes more. The dragons had dived into a cluster of the larger monsters and incinerated them with their fiery breath. The planet was truly amazing, the wildlife was much like that on Earth and the vegetation closely matched it also. The marines felt at home in this environment, and they showed it by using the surrounding areas to their advantage.
Suddenly, a dropship emerged from a heavy storm cloud above with a large creature in tow. The creature had a wing span of sixty feet and was firing some sort of black projectile at the dropship.
An explosion sent the ship spiralling towards the forest before the pilot regained control and attempted to land it without hurting those on board.
There was a loud collection of snapping sounds and then silence. The silence was eerie and the creatures stopped what they were doing as the flying one circled overhead, it's wings blotted out the sun and sent shadows on the valley.
Suddenly, high pitched screaming emitted from the direction of the ship and the entire segment of monsters marched off towards the sound, leaving all their activities behind.
Trevor pocketed his scope and sprinted back to camp. He slid down the small cliff and found his entire company missing. All that remained was a few indents in the ground and stamped out coals from the fire.
"Oh crap..." Trevor whispered as he unslung his rifle and left the clearing, heading towards the ship's crash-site. |
