| My my, it astounds me at how many things one tends to forget throughout the day. At any rate, I was quite randomly browsing forums when the thought suddenly occured to me that I hadn't taken it upon myself to make anyone's aquaintance, or any form of introduction, for that matter. So, after much pondering and mental debate amongst myself, I have decided to do the latter.
You may call me Mithrin, and nothing else. Should you chose to call me something other than that, I should be quite keen on ignoring you for a nice while. As for personal details, anyone who asks is, (in my opinion,) a "creeper" (as that is what they call them today, is it not?) I stumbled upon these marvelous forums while I was on a most dull and monotonous quest of finding even the slightest form of entertainment, and it seems I have found what I have been seeking for the last twenty minutes. That's all you should need to know, or shall I say, that is all that I myself believe that you should want to know.
At any rate, the bell is about to sound, and my professor shall be quite miffed should I be late in my attendance. So, cheerio my dear fellows!

| hello there Mithy! and the proper term for it is internet stalker and really why would we ask? were not interested in a person who tries to sound smart but most likely just wants to show off how many fancy words he can say before he starts stuttering now theres also a catch about being on here and how old are you any how? your obviously not too old since you have a professor and the fact that he makes you call him a professor means you live in a larger town or city and you use the British words so you have to be in the 14-16 age range... anything I missed?

| Well I would say that judging by the manner in which he describes things, he probably plays a lot of medieval RPG's, but I could be wrong.
And Mithrin, just because you know how to spell and use grammar correctly, and have a large vocabulary, doesn't mean you have to go around rubbing it in peoples' faces. I read and write at a university level, but I don't go around using words that no-one knows/cares about.
Now I'm sure your professor is waiting for you in some dark corner somewhere, so don't keep him waiting or he'll be miffed. |

ok I don't mean to be mean, but all of the below because is true. So I am being nice! (in other words dont hate me because of my corrections)
ok to put it bluntly you're a tool. speaking like that on that internet as an introduction will make you sound like a total downer.
speaking like that in public, on the other hand, will get you bashed (seriously no joke, this is quite true).
also your introduction alone (forgetting the fact that ur using a shovel full of uncommon "smart/er" words that just sound like a total mess when theres too many of 'em) is pointless.
"So, after much pondering and mental debate amongst myself..." is a failed attempt at sounding smart. to help you understand why, think about what pondering means, and then think about what mental debate means, they're exactly the same!
and amongst is usually used with a group of people, not for oneself unless they're schizophrenic (multiple personalities).
saying "for a nice while" doesn't sound right consider changing it too "for a good while" or "for quite some time" or just keep it as, "I should be quite keen on ignoring you" in fact change "should" to "would" as should doesnt necessarily mean you will be.
"dull" and "monotonous also mean the same thing.
it is pointless to say "That's all you should need to know, or shall I say, that is all that I myself believe that you should want to know." as if you do believe that is all we wish to know then you needn't say any of that as we wouldnt ask of it.
and also "miffed" is no longer a common or modern-used word.
anyway sorry for all the corrections but, everything I've said is meant in the nicest possible way. hopefully making you think twice before posting something you believe is smart, but actually make sure it is smart.
P.S. do not mistake my own post as an attempt to make myself sound smart as that would be a terrible mis-understanding.

| Alright, You were right on one thing: I do play a lot of medieval rpg's.
As for why I spoke like that, it was so I could get interesting reactions which could possibly provide me with a good five minutes of entertainment (which it did <3), and because I was horribly bored that day. |
