| Well, I've never considered myself a "sugi-artist" and I still don't, but here was my attempt at creating a clean, colored image of a fakemon from my old fan-game.

It's name is Burnop, designed by an artist named NeoRyder from my old fan-game Pokemon Dark. I would've provided just a straight-up image but I'm a little lazy right now :P

| kinda, the original artist actually made this the final evo of a stage-1 line but I think it doesn't look mature enough to look as a final evo :P
And to David C, they are going to be in a Pokemon game. I'm reviving my old fan game, Pokemon Dark. The vast majority of the reason I'm doin these pieces of artwork is because I'm trying to show spriters (what I didn't have and main reason my project died last time :P) that we actually have good designs to work with and that can make this game brilliant :) |

I'm actually looking around for a spriter now, if I find one I'll be opening up a thread for my actual game here and I'll show both the sprites and all the designs by my concept artists :) |

Good news for you David, we (kinda) have a spriter :)
Bad news is, they've only done one sprite and it's currently a WIP, but it's still a spriter none the less :)

Sprite is 80x80, I think that's what we're gonna use in our game just not 100% sure yet :D

| haha I wouldn't go that far David :P but yeah I like it too, and I agree on the leg as well as the neck is just a tad too long :P all of that has already been addressed to the spriter :)
and DM, that's what the monster's colors are, here I'll show you

I understand that the colors could be just a tad more saturated, but for the most part the spriter got the colors right :P |

| The design is very good and the pokemon sprite (the 80x80) has a strong pokemon feel to it, I mean if you compare it to the D/P sprites, they almost look like they've been done by the same spriter. The original idea is also very professionally done with the idea being nicely captured in the 80x80. Some minor flaws like the hind leg but overall a great success :D. Can't wait to see more pokemon or the back sprite/animation of this one.
