I think with 3D models you're either in or you're out. We need someone like cruzer but he's occupied >_>

Now, just wait a minute! I never said that I couldn't do Pokemon style models, I said I'd never done Pokemon style models. Don't put words in my mouth! I suppose I could try and do it, but I'd have to read up on it a bit first. And what is this for? Jade?

SketchUp is for noobs who are too sucky to use proper 3D software like Blender (even though I find Blender near impossible) or the software I use, Autodesk 3D Studio Max (Industrial standard). I guess I could try, but I have no idea how to make models for a 3D pokemon game... I know nothing about Game Maker's 3D functions. Nor do I know what file type the models need to be in, or the dimensions, or how I should go about modelling them.

I can easily make the models, and then scale them to size. The hard part is texturing it properly, and making sure I get everything right, I've never made a model for a GM game before. Not only that, but I usually make my models stupidly oversized. But I suppose I can work through that... However. To model the building, I need a side view, a front view, and preferably a back view too... And crap, I have to watch my poly count, too >.<

It's not the texture itself that's the problem, it's getting everything to line up right, and making sure everything's in the right place... Which is a lot harder than you think, I've never tried UVW mapping...
