| You seem to have mis-understood me. Let me quote you here, with the bit that I was talking about in bold: QUOTE: Lody Reposted so it can be viewed:
The "Reposted" bit was fine, but since everyone could already view the video in dum0dum's post, the post was incorrect.
No need to give me the dictionary definition of "re-", I probably know English better than you anyway. |

let me format some text for you, you complete and utter moron. I mean seriously, you are so focused on justifying yourself upon being told off for being an idiot that you failed to read through my whole post as I suggested, and instead, made yourself out as more of a jackass than before.

| Lody, you're too kind. Posting the definitions of words I already know the meaning of. "Was" could mean "still is" or could mean "not any more", how was I to know? Don't think people are stupid simply because you were being ambiguous. |

| you never pointed out the word "was"
I defined it for you so as not to give you the chance to make a fool out of yourself.
not to mention; what isn't ambiguous? especially on the internet.
The word "was" generally means "not anymore", whereas "were" usually means "still is"
I go by this rule of thumb due to something written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.
"Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."
it was in one of his books, but I really like the quote. very smart and compact. |

| Tweedledee and Tweedledum are in Alice through the Looking Glass. Isn't the quote from there, or have the characters just been taken from it? |

| no it's "Through the Looking Glass"
but Tweedlee Dee and Tweedle Dum are also in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"
but the quote is from Through the Looking Glass |

| Are they in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? I don't remember them in it.
The quote is by Lewis Carrol though - he's the author of the book. |

| actually his real name is Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.
and the quote is from the book "Through the Looking Glass"; Math books don't lie!
and they are also in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" though I'm not sure if they are the same two characters. |

| Well, it could be a pseudonym. I was just saying what the book said the author was called.
They're not in the actual book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but some films of it include them in, simply because they're such recognisable characters. |
