This is where people can talk about future patches for PT. People's opinions on stuff they would like to see in the next Game Patch. Please check the idea list before you post any ideas. Also, please remember that this is a topic where people voice out ideas and not shun them. For example: I would like for them to complete Russet City and add HM-Cut in the next patch.

The following subject matter is what we have decided on so far to be in patch 1 HM01 - CUT Great Rod Registering Items The past will be done with a less colorful sprite set. The style of the buildings and scenery will be BASED OFF of red/blue version <3 But will be brought in all its glory into the graphical detail of gen3. Sprites have already been completed for the past, and they look great. The future will not be in patch 1, but it will definitely be a grim and dark time indeed when you get there. Breeding will not be in patch 1, but will be a focus of patch 2. Ochre island will be fixed up. Although for now it will remain a semi useless town. Until later patches when it'll include subquests. West russet as of now may or may not remain unlocked it just depends. It isn't NEEDED for patch 1 as far as the plot goes, but I might add it in now anyways. We'll see. The airport will most definitely be opened up however, and you will get to fly on a jet to the leftmost island on the map. There will be another rival battle with Brittany. You will have your first battle against Giovanni. Here are a couple screenshots of a new town/area: Manoa Village Yay for sunny beaches and tropical villages ;) Image Image Thats all we're willing to release for now on Patch 1 though.

for the item finder have like a cave area with levels like 20 or more. and each level has a random amount of stuff you can find. And some of that stuff you can find are 1. the stairs down, 2. a pit fall that makes you go down(X) floors (random up to you), 3. an item that makes you go up (X) amount of floors (its random up to you), 4.items for you to sell, 5.items for you secret base, 6.and money. and every 5 floors if you do 20 floors give like a special money bonus like 500$ or so, and when you get to the bottom much more rare things so here is an example! on floor 1 you found 3 spots of 20$ each and some common pots to sell or put in your base. when you got to floor 10 you found 6 spots of 80$ each, 2 uncommon pots (base or sell), and a uncommon fossil (sell only)
AWESOME mini game suggestion. Great money earning method :) Don't know that we'll get it into patch 1, but we'll get it in there eventually.

patch 1 will not be out before christmas :P however we are still planning on getting the christmas event in before christmas. with an entirely new pokemon as a reward, and furniture for your secret base, this christmas should be a good one one Pokemon Twilight :) on a side note: - bikes will never be in PT as I feel the running mechanic covers movement speed as well as it needs to. For large scale transportation, there is flying. - I've looked into VOIP ( voice chat over PT ) and I haven't decided whether I'm going to attempt it or not yet - online leader boards will be implemented into the game as soon as we figure out a secure way of doing it - when online battles are completed, we will introduce a league based ranking system that gives you points based on the ranking of your opponent upon defeating them - I'm currently brainstorming ideas to make the online portion of the game much more enjoyable and entertaining ( i.e. co-op areas ) - Advanced online profiles is something I want to discuss with bob. Either way, statistics will have to be updated while you're online only. We have to go through a server to have the information be secure and not easily hacked. The server will check for cheating etc etc. Hopefully in the next little while we'll have a statistics section that is accurate, fair, and competitive. Hopefully we'll bring a new aspect to the PT scene shortly. That is all.

the christmas event will be unlocked via mystery gift. If you access mystery gift for 4 days before or after christmas ( dec 21st - dec 29th ) you'll get a "Wintery Ticket" which can be used to teleport you to the north pole :D with a couple of challenges, interesting folks to meet, furniture to unlock, and a new pokemon to obtain, we're hoping to make your holiday just a little merrier. The event will be open to everyone. You will only be able to visit the north pole on said days however.

NEVER will we have contests in PT. I hate contests haha and who said a pokemon battle with santa was out of the question? o.o

Some form of trainer re-battle system will be implemented in the future, but I don't know for what patch. Since the demand is so high, online battles may be a part of patch 1 however.

Thanks for all the input guys, we will take it into account when patching PT. To address a few certain ideas I've seen tossed around: We do plan on incorporating time more into the game. Input on pokemon moves will always be looked into. I will look into LAN connections when I redo the server. I don't think interactive emotes will be an option. They would take too many sprites. Maybe small things like hopping up and down.
