| Well, I've been trying something and I thought it was a good idea. I made an OW for Singet, just for fun, then I made one for Searus because it was easy to make, and then I couldn't stop.
Here are the ones I've right now:
WIP means work in progress - I am working on them right now
RE means remade - I am probably going to remake them later
C&C is welcome :)

| They're pretty good for your first tried
Singet's head is a bit too big and round.
Searus's hands need to be bigger.
They're not quite in the pokemon style, but I can't really tell you why - you should ask David about that sort of stuff
Looking forward to seeing more :D

| There's no reason why you couldn't have just posted this in my "PT Sprite Revamps" topic. (:

| Not bad. Some of them could use a bit of work, but not bad at all.

| The perspective is weird abnd varies btw pkmn... eg singet seems to be viewed from lower down than spiquil
The shading needs a rework too. look at spiquil: its pillow shaded.
Urich's spikes bug me too... they need to be taller in the middle I think
If you look at real pokemon then you can see the difference. There tends to be a dark outline(but not black) around the edge of the hue that it touches and all inside outlines are less dark
idk... thats my 2 cents but I think they are a great start...

| Decrease the number of colours in the palette and take a look at the real examples like BB said. |

Singet is an edit of Slowpoke and Spiquill's an edit of Charizard, and as I used a base I don't really get why they look different, but yeah.
I know Spiquill's pillow shaded and I tried to avoid pillowshading but it didn't exactly worked.
I'll remake Spiquill's shading later.
Does someone have tips to prevent pillowshading? |

Yes I know, but I make the outline, fill it in and then start shading, and on some reason I get almost always a pillowshaded figure. |

| Try shading only when you are drawing on the top/left of a line for now, then add where you think it absolutely must be... Lets see where that gets you |
