Hey I was wondering if anyone could give me some helpful tips or critiques on some of theses sprites.

First of all, try working within a 64x64 field (even though PT uses a 96x96 field for some reason). Try spriting all shapes without tools and with your hand. And use shading. The only bit of shading that's in your sprites is wrong.

Id say the first step to fix them is to look at the original Nintendo sprites a bunch. Isolate aspects of their style. Then emulate them. Otherwise, Id say first try to do the sprite without shadow and just three tones of each color: main, shadow, and dark outline. Use black sparingly ONLY in places where no light hits.
