| This topic was created a bit late, let's hope I'll do it earlier next year.
Usually, waiting for the next year at New Year's Eve is quite boring, you just sit there and do nothing while waiting for the fireworks.
So, let's try to stay amused, right? The goal of this topic is to make people host various events - Minecraft, shoutbox, contests - anything you feel like hosting.
Post here if you feel like hosting an event so I can create a list. Please also note from when to when it will be hosted in GMT, because else time zones make it all annoying.
List of Events
1. Minecraft Building Contest
Location: GFF Minecraft Server
Hosted by: TwilightDusk
From/To: 11AM 31/12/11 to 8PM 1/1/12 (21 hours)
Description: Do "/warp newyear", choose one of the 9 plots and start building. At 8PM 1/1/12, TwilightDusk will visit all entries and then judge who made the best house. Points are given based on variation, technology (redstone), pattern and size. Please note that size does not mean that you get more points if it's bigger.

| One small problem - time zones. You need to specify every time in GMT, so it's easy for people to convert. Also, bear in mind, lots of people do stuff with other real life people, and aren't bored :P
