| Hey!
I've been to a lot of Forums, I'm a frequent visitor on a buch of them, but I've seen stuff that SHOULD be in this one!
And the stuff I'm talking about is "Options" for the users!
Man, EVERYTIME I come here, I have to be searching for my toppics manualy, see if anyone has posted any response by checking the "last answered toppic" section, on the forums.
That is a big whole bunch of Crap! You guys should put an option on the Forehead of the Forum, once you Log in, to access "New Toppics Since The Last Visit" and "New Answers to Toppics You've Been In (Here, as in, Participating)."
That would make things A LOT more easier...
And also, we should try to make the forum more dynamic, (thanks to the Polls and similar stuff, for that, but that's not enough!)
But that's a toppic to discuss here:
What could be done to improve the FORUM, not the GAME, so when we come here, we have a reason to come... ;)

| I have been thinking the exact same thing. Every time I come here it seems there are fewer responses or fewer people on. This place needs to liven up a bit, and I love the latest post thing, I almost dread having to search for any topics, let alone ones I've been to. I really like the game, but I'm a fan of the forum too, and I'd rather people came here for the forum, not just to find a link for the game or something, :P.

| You can add a topic to your watchlist so you can find it easily and for a while now the icons in the topic list are grayed out if theres no new replies from when you last viewed it.

| Maybe a feature could be included where you can filter out specific users, search posts by specific users, or block all posts (so only you can't see them) by users, or block specific topics (again, so only you can't see them).

| You can already view all topics created by a specific user by following the link on their profile page. There is also an ignore user feature on the profile, which will hide their replies to topics (eventually it will do more, but thats all it does right now) |

| I want one where you can search all of their posts and topics. Say, a bar on their profile where you can type in, say, "cats and dogs", and all their posts containing the words cats and dogs will show up (not case sensitive). |

In that case I think a global Search option would be more appropriate... that way it would drop several birds with one stone.
If Bob were to put some specific filter options, of course... Like by user, by area, by group and so on and so forth... :) |
