Hey all my first post but just wanted to put in that I speak/read English (obviously), German, Spanish, Latin, and Japanese - although my Japanese is rusty and on an intermediate level. Hopefully this helps and I'll be more than happy to translate any text, menus, etc.

Keep in mind that this topic is only for forum translation. If you want to help translating the game, you should go here.

It's been a while since anyone has posted here so this is kind of an unofficial bump, we still need translation help D= Also as a follow up to my original post, I finished 4 semesters of college German and ended up taking 2 semesters of Spanish as an elective.

I could help with the forum translation in Romanian. That would get some of my friends who don't speak English very well playing this game. Will start translating soon.

Awesome =D To celebrate I've worked on a few improvements to the whole translation system, some are behind the scenes and some are incomplete but I'll share a couple now. First off, I added subdomains corresponding to all the available languages. This way you can view the forum in a different language without having to change your settings. So here's the languages available: http://en.pycoforums.com/gff English http://de.pycoforums.com/gff German http://nl.pycoforums.com/gff Dutch http://pt.pycoforums.com/gff Portuguese http://br.pycoforums.com/gff Portuguese (Brazil) http://fr.pycoforums.com/gff French http://es.pycoforums.com/gff Spanish http://ro.pycoforums.com/gff Romanian (glitchy at the moment) I haven't completely decided how viewing these subdomains will interact with your default language setting so I don't recommend bookmarking or sharing them quite yet. Secondly, I've started making the whole translation tracking system a lot fancier. It used to be 100% manual editing, now it will be managed by a database that can automatically generate the language php files for me. In the short term, this doesn't really change much for you guys except that the new translation project page is slightly fancier and (currently) missing like half the words. In the long run it will really help me with getting the forums 100% translated because adding new phrases and updating the status of old ones is so much easier. I'll also be able to make the project page even fancier now that the data is in database form.

Well I speak Hungarian and Slovak fluently, but I don't think you found either of them useful.

OK, so I have the two sketches ready. I will ask my cousin, she is a translator, to correct any mistakes I might have made. It may take a day or so. Should I send it to you when ready in a PM, or post is somewhere? BTW, Slovak and Czech are almost the same language, they even understand each other, so I guess adding just one would be enough.

You can post it as a PM or just as a reply to this topic, either one works. Thanks, its not often I find someone willing to translate =] Btw, I've updated the translation link in the front page to lead to the most up to date list of words.

I forgot to mention: You can change the capital letters how you like in both languages, it is not necessary to keep them. (Unlike in German for the nouns)

Awesome, thank you a lot for the translations =D You did miss a couple of the later additions but still these are the most completely languages on the forums =] I did realize I had left out time format stuff though so I added that to the page. I've already got the Hungarian translation mostly up, you can see it at http://hu.pycoforums.com/gff or switch your language settings in My Controls -> Board Settings. The Slovak translation isn't up as of me writing this. When it is it will be visible at http://sk.pycoforums.com/gff

I visit the translation project page and I saw that some German translations are missing. If nobody else is working on it I could translate the remaining phrases. :)

Yeah! I'm glad to help the pyco-community. :D It won't take much time to do it, but what should I do with the translations when I'm done?
