| Stealing your idea? If you mean 2.5D pokemon game, you're not the first person to think of it. Pokemon Jade has had a lot more progress than your game too, with actual results :P |

| He's not really stealing, the battle engine and pokemon are going to be all custom made and later, possibly even the overworld NPC's and buildings - only possibly. But the 2.5D thing is open for anyone to do, although of course you were joking :D

XD yes I was joking. Though technically I was the first person the these forums to work on 2.5D and I was the first person on the GMC to get 2.5D working efficiently for a Pokemon clone :D
I wish you the best of luck ;) the screenshots... were kind of 'meh' of course I haven't played it yet so I won't criticize on what I haven't experienced. |

| Try it out :D The screenshots are all old, even the battle engine. I'm not sure about the overworld screenshot but the downloadable only has the battle engine so that doesn't matter. |

| If you guys need it, I can model stuff... I've made a dozen models for various different things and Pokemon D/P/P style models for the overworld aren't hard to do (and I have made myself a plugin that exports GameMaker models from 3dsMax ;))
Alll I need is a list of what needs making, and for you guys to supply me with a texture ;) A general reference image for the model would be fantastic too |

| The main thing Pokemon Jade does need is models. If you could show us some of your work first? We need basically everything that is a building or an object (not including foliage). |

| That's a nice dinosaur model, but have you got any pokemon-style models? They're quite different to those sorts of models. I'm not trying to be awkward or anything, but it's just emulating a particular style may not be too easy... |

| I don't have any pokemon meshes that I'm allowed to share or that i think I want to share. Either take or leave my offer based on the model I provided (you'll be losing a good opportunity mind you), I'm not in the mood to screw around. If you want my help, just give me a list of what you want modeled, I'll pick one from the list, make it and show it to you and you can decide if you still want me, I'm not going to go out of my way to jsut model stuff willy nilly to get it thrown back in my face because it can take hours to perfect a mesh. |

| @Lody - rexhunter isn't the only modeller in the world. Even if we don't choose him, it won't be Jade's downfall.
@rexhunter - You don't have to get cross. What would be the difference between letting you choose from a list, modelling, and seeing if we like it, or what I said? Anyway, I'm not trying to put you off, we do need a modeller. Since we need just about everything, here's a small list:
-Pokemon Center, typical pc design. D/P/Pt/HG/SS screenshots are a good place to look.
-PokeMart, typial design. Look at screenshots again.
-House, a house. Can be whatever shape you want, as long as it's not too strange |

| well it just goes to prove you have no eyes look at that dinosaur it looks way great and if he can do that, that well he could probably do anything a pokemon game needs.
and DM He may not be the only one but he's probably the only one you'll find thats willing to help you because if they aren't accustomed to your "type of person" they'll probably quit before they get started, though rex is likely to do so too.
