I realised that too, but it's only for the letters that have a loop and come back down again like "e" or "a". Nevertheless, it's easily fixed :)

I'll post a revamp of the textbox DM made in the next sprite sheet update - it was requested by him anyway so obviously this is not going to be the final textbox. The first once imo was good but still looked too much like the original D/P one.

I'll try to sort those letters out. Importing a custom font cam be quite timesome, so it's hard to get the placement quite right. I'll post a new screenshot when I'm done (which will include the new textbox and some improvements). NEW SCREENIE: Image

I'll think about it. Well, the battle engine is going nicely, I'm just about to get started on attacks. I finally understand IVs and EVs, so I'm much more confident.

So, at the moment I'm working on actual attacking, and I have to say it'd not going to plan. While it started off well, I've now come up against a horde of bugs and glitches. But don't worry, I'll fix them...

I'm making a list of the features the battle engine has or is going to have, and what I have done/am working on/will work on. This is so you can see, as well as all the different features, how long (roughly) it will be until you can test it out. It is colour-coded so it is easier to read. It is also in the order it will be worked on. Key Green = Finished Orange = Being Worked On Red = Will Be Worked On Soon Opening Animation Menu Selection (Fight/Bag/Party/Run) Running Away Attacking Damage Fainting Levelling Up/Getting EXP Attacks that don't do damage Attacks over multiple turns Confusion Status Problems Attack animations Weather Effects

in the 'menu selection' bit does the bag button go into a proper bag with items in etc also i think u missed out 'using items' from ur list ,u might not have though

The bag system is a completely different thing to the battle engine, as is viewing your party, summary etc. That is why they are not on there. They will be made after the battle engine.

I need sprites more than ever now probably, what with all the attacks and such. No pressure though I'm putting the list at the top of the main/first post, so you can see it easily. When I complete something, or something is added to the list, I'll make a post containing that single thing. Accuracy/Evasion

Moves that don't do damage I finally finished this! Better than PT, because there is actually an animation/surface thing for when stats change just like in real pokemon games, not some random arrow like in PT.
