Hmm... I'd much rather make Pokemon than edit your pokedex graphics so can I do that instead? :P

Sure! I don't mind what you do - Jade needs all the help it can get I've made a tree viewer for anyone wanting to make trees. You load 5 images, then click test to see what it would look like in game. If it looks good, post it here! Here's the link. Also first post has got it too. The textbox now has questions :) Just a few more things and I'll start on the battle engine!

Well, since I'm doing the programming there are two other things I need doing. 1. Spriting - anything. New pokemon / trees / better sprites etc. 2. In a while I will need the stats for all the pokemon made. It's easy to do but time consuming, esp. making the movesets :P If I need any other help I'll tell you.

ok your 2.5/3d thingy is way off (no offence) the trees change view too much, the angle movement of the trees should be minimal, it should be from seeing a few pixels of the trunk too about seeing a few more pixels of the trunk of the tree. thats how the 3d seems to work in diamond/pearl. also why does the character look scaled inwards (horizantally)? pokedex looks pretty cool though you could work on your spriting skills for the pokemon, shading mostly. and the dp textbox looks kinda tall. maybe its just me? but it seems alright so far!

I agree with the angle, the character is because he is drawing it as a wall instead of as a sprite out of 3d

What do you mean "drawing it as a wall"? Anyway, I've sorted out that squashing the character thing. The trees are different from the ones in D/P, they are futher apart, that's why you can see too much of the trunk. To be honest, I don't think the movement is very good, so I might completely re-do it.

as using 3d functions. not as a draw_sprite()

I'm using draw_sprite_ext() to draw the character.

Believe it or not, I actually know what I'm doing. As I have said, it is fixed now. I am fine with the coding. The spriting is what I need.

how far they're apart doesnt mean ud see more of the trunk. i know because ive looked at where a tree starts and how much of the trunk you see from the top-to-bottom of the screen EDIT: I just tested the pokedex and no offence but it is crap! my first suggestion is dont make the entire thing based around the color red! the pokemon sprites are obviously crap, which isnt a glitch but can be fixed by getting someone else to sprite. theres no gui once uve selected a pokemon, just arrows (which dont even tell you what they're gonna show) and all the tabs for the pokemon (info, forms and area) are stuck in that order, when quitting the pokedex on the last tab (area) it goes back through all of the other tabs until returning to the menu of the pokedex.
